Are you ready to add s'more snuggles and cuddles into your life? Meet Maisy! This 1-year-old, 35 pound Basenji/terrier mix is the sweetest pup with the most perfect ears. House- and crate-trained, this friendly cutie pie would love to spend her days snoozing or adventuring by your side. She is always ready to hop up and give you a hug. And while she's slightly too big to be a lap dog, Maisy would be happy to serve as your weighted blanket at a moment's notice.

Meet the Pet

The best way to meet our pups is via private meetings or at adoption events. We host these weekly at various locations around NYC.

Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoption fee ranges from $275-$550 and covers the costs of vetting, boarding, transportation, and other necessary items for our dogs.

Hearts & Bones Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based rescue with dual bases in New York City, NY and Dallas, TX. We are dedicated to ending the needless euthanasia of shelter dogs through direct lifesaving, shared learning, and community building. Our incredible network of rescue partners, fosters, volunteers, and a small but mighty staff work together to save dogs in the areas where shelters are under the greatest stress, and unite them with loving adopters ready to give them the lives they deserve.
