Looking for a lifelong companion? Apricity is single and ready to mingle! Meet Apricity, a 1.8-year-old mixed breed that weighs 36 pounds. She loves long walks on the beach and sunsets...just kidding! But, this sweet girl does love to spend her days walking and is known to love a good play session. Her puppy energy makes her the ideal companion for anyone looking for the perfect fitness buddy and who is eager to work on training. Apricity is quick witted and already knows that "place" means to go to her crate. She has been a champion of sleeping and eating in there! Apricity is a curious gal who wants to meet new people and dogs. Apricity's foster parent has been working with her on her good-girl walking skills and she has been a very quick learner. The best way to meet our pups is via private meetings or at adoption events. We host these weekly at various locations around NYC.

Our adoption fee ranges from $275-$550 and covers the costs of vetting, boarding, transportation, and other necessary items for our dogs.

Hearts & Bones Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based rescue with dual bases in New York City, NY and Dallas, TX. We are dedicated to ending the needless euthanasia of shelter dogs through direct lifesaving, shared learning, and community building. Our incredible network of rescue partners, fosters, volunteers, and a small but mighty staff work together to save dogs in the areas where shelters are under the greatest stress, and unite them with loving adopters ready to give them the lives they deserve.
