My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Personality & Characteristics: Peanut is a sweet and loving MinPin who adores being pampered and snuggling up with her favorite humans. She’s a happy companion who easily warms up to new friends and loves having someone by her side.
My foster dog is good with: (Dogs, Kids, Cats) She loves being around other dogs (puppies and older dogs) and she's fantastic with kids. Peanut is friendly with everyone she meets!
My foster dog is: (Crate trained, House trained, Low shed) Crate trained and (mostly) house-trained. She uses wee wee pads when needed but is learning quickly to go outside.
3 Keywords for your pup: Loyal, affectionate, playful.
Energy Level (1= calm, 10= high energy): 7 when she hasn't seen anyone for a bit but usually a chill 4.
Barker? Or Quiet Pup?: Peanut may bark briefly when you first come home, but she settles down and is quiet after that.
Walking Manners: Peanut is curious and loves to explore, so she may dart toward interesting sights, but she walks well on a tighter leash.
Appetite: She has a great appetite and enjoys Farmer’s Dog food.
Does the following: (Gets car sick, nervous outside, has separation anxiety, hates the bath, none of the above) Peanut would do well in a home with other small dogs or someone who works from home.
Favorite Things: She loves hanging out, snuggling, and following you around wherever you go.
Commands/Tricks: responds to her name and is learning the "sit" command.

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.

Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States
