Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hala is the perfect mix of sweet and chill (she'll even put up with wearing accessories if it means getting a cute photo)! She's been doing great in her foster home where she loves to relax. Her temporary caretaker tells us that she's very sweet and cuddly and even comes when called! Such a smarty pants. She can also be independent, so don't worry about her walking over your keyboard during your zoom meetings.

Hala requires a special diet for her sensitive skin, but it's a small price to pay for such a sweet and loving companion.

If this animal is located at our Manhattan Adoption Center, head in to meet them and see if you are a match! We are a same-day adoption center, and an application does not put you on a list or hold an animal for you. If they are in Wantagh or in a foster home, please submit an online application and our team will reach out to further discuss the adoption process. Prior to adoption, all of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and given their age-appropriate vaccines.

Please bring the following to your adoption appointment:

Photo ID with current address AND a copy of their utility bill with their current address.

Proof in Writing that Pets Are Welcome in the Building. This can be in the form of a lease, a letter from the landlord, or an email from the landlord.

Adopting a dog? Adopters must bring a leash, collar and harness.

Adopting a cat? Adopters must bring a sturdy, non-cardboard pet carrier. (Bedding optional but helpful)
