Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Adoption fee is $150 Hi my name is Pepper. I’m about 1-2 years old. I’m full of life and goofiness. My foster mom says I’m part rabbit because I hop like one. I’m extremely athletic and have enjoyed learning about agility. I love ear, tummy and foot massages. I am kennel trained. I know sit and lay down. I definitely would want older kids who can run around with me! I prefer meals and special snacks in my kennel. When it’s meal time I will run into my kennel and wait if the door is open. If the door to my kennel isn’t open I will sit in front of it. I wiggle my whole body and hop when I’m happy. No cats or small dogs. I have a pretty decent prey drive so I love to chase the squirrels here. I would really like a fur sister! My foster sister has become my best friend and we play play play. A fur sister around my age who likes to wrestle preferably. I'm a good buddy for Netflix and chill. I’ll lay next to you on the couch or lay at your feet on the bed. I give ninja kisses, I will sneak one in so fast you won’t even know it’s coming hehe. Occasionally, I’m uncomfortable with strangers but I’m working on it. I probably have some herding breed in me so familiarization with the breed is important. You can fill out an application located at sandipaws.org Thank you for your interest in a Sandi Paws Rescue, Inc. Please visit our site at sandipaws.org for more information on our organization or to fill out an application to adopt one of our pets. You can find information for volunteering on our site as well.

A successful adoption depends on the selection of the right pet for your household and your understanding of your responsibility of adopting a rescued animal. Our adoption procedures have been designed to make sure all rescued Sandi Paws pets are placed in an appropriate, loving forever home, and to make sure all adopters find the right fit for their family. Prior to adoption, all dogs and cats will be given all age-appropriate vaccinations, including rabies, kennel cough, parvo and distemper, spaying/neutering, intestinal deworming, heartworm testing/treatment, microchipping, and monthly heartworm medication and flea prevention.
Note: We will adopt pets outside of Wisconsin if we can do necessary background and reference checks and the adopters agree to provide necessary follow up information. Also, the adopting family must agree to travel to pick up the pet and agree to transport them back to Wisconsin if they need to be returned at any time.
