No need to roll the dice on this one- Domino is a sure win! Domino is an approximately eight-months-old mutt mix, weighing around 17 pounds. We DNA tested him and the results show that he is a combo of 11 breeds, and 68% Chihuahua. Domino came to Chi Town Rescue with 10 other dogs, from a hoarding situation. The owner was moving and wanted all the dogs on the property euthanized, even though they were mostly young and healthy. Domino is a typical "hoarded" dog in that he is not entirely socialized with people, although he does great with other dogs. A canine friend in his new home may help Domino to warm up faster in a new environment. Domino can be shy and avoidant with new people, but has really blossomed with those he knows. When he knows and trusts you, he will approach you for pets and kisses. Domino has also started to show us his playful puppy personality and ZOOMIES! He loves to zoom and play with other dogs, and loves to chase toys. Domino is basically a "blank canvas" and he's hoping YOU can help write his forever story. Domino would do best in a patient and loving home that will help him learn new things, including leash training and potty training. Does Domino sound like the sweet and gentle soul you've been looking for? Email chitownrescue@gmail.com for more info/meet and greet appointment. Domino's adoption fee includes neuter surgery, vaccinations up to date, Rabies certificate, and microchip.
