Meow! My name is Peppermint. My estimated date of birth is 6/21/2016. In 2016, I was adopted by a kind older woman, but unfortunately, 8 years later, my owner sadly passed away. I'm back at the shelter, looking for a new home. I am a total lovebug and extremely affectionate! I will dramatically roll over or headbutt you when being petted. I am very vocal and will meow at you for attention. Whenever volunteers use a vacuum, I meow the entire time! I am very silly and entertaining. I sometimes like to give gentle love bites. I am a volunteer favorite due to my loving and goofy personality! I don't really like other cats, especially female cats, and would do best in a home as the only pet. I need space from other cats and expect to be the dominant feline. I'm good with kids and have never been around dogs. I am available for adoption at the Kitty Corner, waiting to have a family of my own again!

Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm. All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many that are not posted yet. Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives. No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so). We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.
