Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Corky, picked up as a stray by one of our officers on 11/14 and brought to the Mesquite Animal Shelter. According to my Dog Scanner app, the following breeds may be in his mix: Doggo Argentino, American pitbull, American Staffordshire terrier. What will draw you to this boy? For me, it was those adorable ears and his beautiful alert soulful brown eyes. He weighs approx a too-thin 35–40 pounds and is about 2 years old. He is being given extra feedings in order to help him reach a more healthy weight. Handsome boy walks quite nicely on a leash and has a moderate activity level. He does not jump on you. He was not interested in the toys or balls I offered him. He seems uneasy and restless. He hasn’t fully acclimated to the shelter environment. We will spend time with him helping him realize that he can trust the staff and volunteers at the shelter and we will try to help him build confidence and trust. He is fine with being petted. He loves treats, but does not know to sit for them. Please assist Corky in locating his very own special forever home
