My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Dodger!!
After being found hit by a car, his foster named him after the “Artful Dodger”……the clever leader of a pack of orphaned, pickpocket street urchins in the Charles Dickens book Oliver Twist. This boy is approximately 45lbs and 2yrs young. Dodger loves all humans and dogs alike and absolutely adores children! Dodger would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and maybe even another playful pup to romp with. He has a sweet and gentle manner, very affectionate. Dodger is very smart and trainable but does still need some work on leash to stop pulling. He LOVES to play outdoors and would be a great companion for hikes and camping trips. Dodger does like to chase cats and chickens so a home with no small animals would be best. Don't pass by this handsome guy as he will make a wonderful addition to your family!

Donation
Since ALL of our funding is from donations (we are not supported by a government agency), fundraising and a few spay/neuter grants, we always need monetary donations and food and supply donations including straw and bedding material. With winter coming we could really use some more dog houses and tarps (used is welcome). Used crates are also always needed. Pick up can be arranged within a reasonable distance. Thank you for your support.
