Elena is a kitten who likes things her way, as well as play, affection, and attention, and we are all happy to oblige!

ABOUT ELENA:
-At shelter
-Kitten, domestic shorthair, female
-Elena arrived from another shelter with her siblings, Damon (adopted) and Stefan.
-Kittens, like Elena, have lots of energy!
-Elena enjoys playing, but on her terms. She will curiously watch her roommates play with wand toys before joining in, although she also likes playing independently.
-Elena is gaining confidence being around humans every day.
-When she’s settled into a comfy bed or bin, Elena welcomes pets. She especially likes chin rubs and will reward people with purrs. But, if approached too quickly she`ll likely run away, or perhaps offer a hiss and little swat.
-Elena is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.

ELENA`S IDEAL HOME:
-Kittens require ample and mindful stimulation, through play, from their humans.
-It is important that Elena either go to a home where there is already a feline-friendly cat in residence, or be adopted with one of her siblings or another compatible shelter animal.
-Elena will likely benefit from a calm, quiet environment, preferably without small children.
