How Bear arrived:
Bear was brought in by his previous owner on 9/26/24.

Here is an update on how Bear is doing in his foster home:
Meet Bear, a lovely and well-mannered boy thriving in his foster home! Bear is a smart pup who knows how to 'sit,' 'shake,' and 'down,' and is currently learning 'leave it.' He's a pro at playing catch-he'll even drop the ball close to you for another throw when asked.

Bear enjoys his daily walks, loves mealtime, and is happiest lounging nearby, asking for his favorite head scratches. He gets along wonderfully with the resident dog and adult children in his foster home, making him a great companion for a variety of families.

If you're looking for an affectionate, playful, and loyal companion, Bear is ready to bring joy to your life!

Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized.
