My name is Hershee!

Hi! I'm Hershee & just as sweet as my name! I am a 5 month old lab mix. I am dark chocolate with soulful green eyes. I came from a shelter and I'm learning all the new things about home living. I love exploring new sites and sounds. My goals in life is playing, snuggling, eating, and sleeping. I have some puppy energy, but can also calm down for naps and bedtime. I often sleep with my tongue out. I will get to approximately 35-40 lbs. Living in a home with another dog would be great, but is not required. I catch on very fast to routine and I'm also ok if it varies (sleeping in on weekends). I am very easy going and want nothing more than to be your companion. I live with my fosters Great Dane and a shepherd mixed puppy, a kiddo, and 2 older cats that are bigger than me!! I love all types of dogs and cats. I love playing rope or running around the yard, but I can sit contently on the floor chewing on toys and entertaining myself. My fosters teen plays hide and seek with me down the hallway and its a lot of fun.

 

A few of the many great things about me:

 

- I am super sweet, and love to play, but will also stay quietly in my kennel when the foster family runs errands. 

- I will be your sunshine and I'm very inquisitive

- I'm learning to walk on a leash, and I'm getting better each day. I sometimes can't figure out why this thing is following me or attached to me? I'm learning basic commands such as sit, and I sure do love the treats!

- My crate is a safe place and I sleep quietly in it all night without a peep. 

  - My potty training is spot on and I have no accidents as long as I am taken out regularly.

- I am good right away with other animals, love children and adults, and give lots of kisses. I can be shy around people at first, but don't hesitate around animals. I get very snuggly quick.

- I would love to live somewhere I can be active and still a puppy. I love running freely in the yard and would be a great outdoor companion for hiking or walking.
