Meet Halo, also lovingly known as `Big Mama,` a 3-year-old dog available for adoption at Heritage Humane Society. Halo came in with Willow, but they are not bonded and would likely prefer to live separately. Halo enjoys being the Queen of the Household and would do best in a home where she can reign alone, without other dogs. Despite her larger size, Halo walks well on a leash and has a gentle, calm demeanor. She is also a big fan of giving hugs, making her the perfect companion for someone who loves affection. Additional adoption info

Adoption fees range from $56-$86. This includes vaccines, flea/tick protection, health exam at local veterinary clinic, collar,leash, 50% discount on spay/neuter. Altering is done at the time of adoption, prior to the pet going home.
There is an application for adoption, a 24 hour hold and an adoption contract.

We are located in Williamsburg, VA. Our adoption center is open 6 days a week from 12 noon - 4:30 pm, and we are closed on Mondays for deep clean.
