My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shenzi was surrendered to the shelter with her brother Alfred because they could not take her to their new home. She is ready to live out her adult life in the comfort of a home with lots of beds and pillows to lay about. Shenzi is not as outgoing as her brother and can be nervous when new people come in. With time she warms up. She has lived with other dogs but will need slow introductions and may do best as an only dog. Shenzi loves to play with a ball, frisbees and tug toys. She is a very smart lady who knows sit, stay, down, come and paw. She also lived in a home with young kids and did well.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees range from $56-$86. This includes vaccines, flea/tick protection, health exam at local veterinary clinic, collar,leash, 50% discount on spay/neuter. Altering is done at the time of adoption, prior to the pet going home.
There is an application for adoption, a 24 hour hold and an adoption contract.

We are located in Williamsburg, VA. Our adoption center is open 6 days a week from 12 noon - 4:30 pm, and we are closed on Mondays for deep clean.
