My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MAC IS CURRENTLY IN A FOSTER HOME. PLEASE CALL 815-858-2265 TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT TO MEET THIS AMAZING BOY. * I love being around my humans and other dogs. I really want a home with another dog to hang around with. And cats are pretty great too! I am very good at understanding what they want and dont want and will respect their space. I dont make much of a mess, I am house broken and will tell you when I want to go out. At the shelter I was really not into eating, but in a home, I am such a good boy. I will eat my food and love treats. And in my foster home I get to relax with people and pets, and even chill out on the couch. If you think your house needs a boy like me, please submit an application today.   If you are interested in adopting this wonderful 7 year old canine weighing 78 pounds, please FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION on our website www.safehavenforpets.org. If you have any questions, please feel free to call us at 815-858-2265 or email us atsafehaven1471@gmail.com. Additional adoption info

Once an application is approved, we ask potential adopters to come to the shelter to visit the pet or pets they are interested in. If it seems like a great fit, then we would have you fill out the Adoption Contract and provide you with the pet's medical chart, some of the food it is currently eating, and offer any advice we can on that individual cat or dog.
