My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet charming Bomi! In Korean, the word Bomi means spring, and Bomi is just like Spring. Just arrived in Seattle, Bomi is a sweet and playful Jindo mix dog, only 7 months old, and so deserving of a loving family of her own! Bomi came to us as a shelter transfer from South Korea. Jindo dogs are bright little dogs originally from South Korea, and Bomi is a great example. Her playful spirit is infectious, bringing a smile to everyone she encounters. Bomi's boundless love and playful energy make her the perfect addition to any family looking to share their life with a fun-loving companion. Bomi loves to be held by people and gets along with other dogs and loves to carry toys, she is loving life with her bigger golden retriever brother at foster. Bomi has good house habits, has already been spayed and is up to date on vaccinations. Bomi will likely be only 20-25 # when fully grown and is a nice size for any size home. Is intelligent and loving Bomi your new PNW buddy?

More about this rescue

We are a committed group of dog lovers who have decades of experience in dog rescue, volunteering at animal shelters and owning rescue dogs. Most recently, our two founders, have been working with rescuing dogs from Mexico and the Asian dog meat trade as well as California kill shelters, Midwest puppy mill breeder releases and rehoming owner surrendered dogs in Washington and Oregon.

Deciding that we are able to rescue more by combining forces, Pacific Rim Rescue was formed. Our mission is to rescue dogs from devastating conditions from countries of the Pacific Rim.

We are committed to providing foster homes, veterinary and behavioral training for these dogs, so that they may live happy and fulfilling lives in their forever homes.
