Meet Zita, a resilient sweetheart ready to bring joy to her forever home! At around 3 years old, Zita is a quiet, dog friendly gem with a sweet and cuddly nature that will melt your heart. She’s a fast learner, especially when treats are involved, and she’s eager to blossom into the amazing dog she’s meant to be.
Here’s a little more about Zita:
- She loves her walks! Zita can’t get enough of exploring and sniffing everything - trees, bushes, the ground, and more. She gets excited at first but settles into a steady pace once she’s moving. Walks are the highlight of her day. - She adores people. Zita loves saying hello to everyone she meets, and she’s especially fond of her foster mom, following her everywhere. She’s incredibly affectionate, always ready for head pets or a good scratch. - She’s great with other dogs. While she hasn’t had direct interactions with her foster mom’s dog yet due to her stitches, Zita has been respectful during their sniff-through-the-door encounters. She also shines in playgroups at the shelter. - She’s crate trained. Zita may whine a little during the day when she’s not ready to settle, but at night, she’s a champ. She sleeps soundly for 11+ hours - She’s a quick learner. Zita is already mastering commands like “sit” and “check-in” and thrives when treats are involved. - She’s a “people dog.” Zita wants to be near her people whenever they’re home. Her affectionate, loyal personality makes her the ultimate companion.
Zita remains full of love and ready to find a loving family! Click the `I`m Interested` button to meet the best snuggly, tail-wagging companion you could ever ask for!
