My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Approximate Age: 8 years old
Approximate Weight: 21.2 lbs

Rambo
- I love my people but I prefer to stick near them not on them (I.e. I’m not a lap dog)
- I always get excited for my food but have lost weight nicely with portion control at my foster mom’s house.
- Requires time to build trust
- I know my name and respond beautifully once I’m comfortable.
- Good house and crate manners
- Very low key dog; would probably do best in a home with no kids or older kids
- Cat friendly but may not understand a cat’s cues. Proper introductions always advised.
- On supplements for his tremor.
- Eats canned food, I think the hard food hurts his mouth.
- Ehrlichia positive. Treatment is typically 28 days of doxycycline (an inexpensive antibiotic). With this disease, a dog may always test positive even if treated. The adopter is responsible for treatment, including cost. Its always a good idea to plan to keep your dog on a joint supplement for life.

What breed am I? Mixed mutt! ODHS does not breed label (unless there's official paperwork), as studies show it is nearly impossible to tell the exact breed of each dog based off of their appearance.
