My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rockwell, a stunning 10-month-old Shepherd/Husky mix with striking eyes and a heart full of love. This adventurous, joyful boy is always up for an exciting new experience, whether it's exploring the great outdoors or enjoying time with his people.

Rockwell is a quick learner and would thrive with training. He's food motivated, eager to please, and loves to engage. His playful energy and intelligence make him a fun companion for anyone looking for an active, interactive dog. He would also love a canine companion and gets along well with other dogs. His brother, Baron, is also available for adoption, so if you’re looking to bring two playful pups into your life, they would be an amazing pair!

Although Rockwell hasn’t been exposed to kids or cats in our care, he is reportedly good with both and would likely do well in a home with children or other pets, given the right introductions. He keeps his space clean in the shelter, which suggests he’ll be easy to house-train with proper guidance.

If you're looking for an affectionate, energetic dog as an adventure buddy, Rockwell could be the perfect match. He’s ready for a home where he can learn, play, and grow into the loyal companion you’ve been searching for!

His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
