"Hi! My name is Camila, but my friends call me Cammie. Even though I'm pretty tall for 7 months old, I'm still just a snuggly puppy, so I need lots of attention and patience. I'm not sure what kind of dog I am, but the best guess is Yellow Lab/Greyhound mix. I may get a little taller but will probably always be slender and may end up about 65 pounds. I love to play, and shoes and socks are toys to me, but I really love to play ball. Foster dad throws it as far as he can, and I go racing after it, super fast like a Greyhound. Then I bring it back, over and over again, like a Lab Retriever. I can be a little shy at first, but I warm up once people help me feel safe and protected. I've been learning housetraining, and I think I'm finally getting it.
I love other dogs and would probably do best with one or two slightly older (but not too old) dogs to play with. If they like to roughhouse, I want to meet them! If someone is home mmost of the time, I would like that best, but I've been learning to stay in my crate for a few hours when my foster people are away. I go for walks or runs every day, so I will be a great walking or running partner.
I can't wait to meet you and become a member of your family. And just in case you missed it: I am a puppy that loves to play and snuggle!"

Additional adoption info
All potential adopters must fill out an application for the animal they want to adopt, which is available on our website. Humane Tomorrow does not do adoptions outside of the DFW Metroplex.
Our adoption fees are...
Cats:
$150 for most kittens and cats
Dogs:
$250-$300 for most puppies and dogs
The adoption fee helps to cover the costs of basic preventative care including spay or neuter, vaccines (including Rabies and virals), heartworm tests and preventative for dogs, FeLV/FIV tests for cats, in addition to extra medical care the animal may need, such as heartworm treatment, dental, or surgery. Often our adoption fees do not even cover costs for basic medical care the animals need, and are certainly cheaper than if all these procedures were covered by the owner.
Humane Tomorrow reserves the right to deny any application for any reason.
