Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Sweetie is a 6 year old, 11 lb Poodle mix.
Is she adorable - yes! Is she an easy, laid-back dog - not always! Sweetie was adopted from us a few years ago, and recently returned due to her person's health issues. She lived a pampered life, and you might even say she is spoiled! Sweetie has some good qualities, like being a cuddlebug, loving car rides, and taking walks with a mandatory harness. Her Diva side can be possessive of food and toys, picky about her food, and stubborn when she doesn't want to do something she should or stop doing something she shouldn't.
Sweetie needs a fairly calm home that will provide her with positive reinforcement training and consistency. She will probably do best as an only dog, but she might be ok with another dog, just depends on the dog. She will also do best in an all adult home, or one with teen kids or older.
If you can provide the type of home that Sweetie needs, and are willing to put in the effort to bring her out of Diva-mode, please submit your application, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Additional adoption info
All potential adopters must fill out an application for the animal they want to adopt, which is available on our website. Humane Tomorrow does not do adoptions outside of the DFW Metroplex.
Our adoption fees are...
Cats:
$150 for most kittens and cats
Dogs:
$250-$300 for most puppies and dogs
The adoption fee helps to cover the costs of basic preventative care including spay or neuter, vaccines (including Rabies and virals), heartworm tests and preventative for dogs, FeLV/FIV tests for cats, in addition to extra medical care the animal may need, such as heartworm treatment, dental, or surgery. Often our adoption fees do not even cover costs for basic medical care the animals need, and are certainly cheaper than if all these procedures were covered by the owner.
Humane Tomorrow reserves the right to deny any application for any reason.
