Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rocket is so sad that he is still here waiting for a forever home. He has lived with cats and kids, and other dogs and did well (he is getting stressed here and reactive towards dogs in the kennel environment, though, so a slow intro is a must). Rocket is reportedly housetrained but would escape the fenced yard in his previous home (this could be because he was not neutered, or out of boredom, but we recommend a tie out inside the fence and training, or leash walking until he is acclimated in a new environment). He is the perfect little medium sized boy and is reportedly a Australian Cattle Dog x Boxer mix. Rocket is 1.5 years old. His adoption fee is $150 and he is now neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and heartworm negative. Please call 630-553-9256 or email animalcontrol@kendallcountyil.gov or stop by during our open hours if interested in adopting this sweet boy. He is super smart and food motivated and ready to be your new BFF!
