Just look at this handsome man?!
Boris was living on the streets alongside two other dogs, all in poor condition and severely underweight. Their struggle caught the attention of a kind-hearted person who decided to intervene and give them a chance at a better life.

Boris is a calm, gentle, and friendly dog with a pleasant nature. He gets along well with humans and other dogs, making him an ideal companion. Whether playing or relaxing, Boris enjoys being close to others and feeling safe and loved.

We are now unsure how Boris would deal with a cat.

Although he has not been kid-tested, with proper introductions and a dog-savvy kiddo, we think he'd do well.

We do a very thorough screening interview, where we go through all of our policies, regulations and asking very detailed questions.
We perform a home and reference check.
Reference checks are your vet and two personal,
once all of those are completed,
we approve you.
you will out a liability waiver, and then set up a meet and greet
if the dog is the right fit, you sign the adoption agreement, pay the fee and on you go home with your new fido friend!

Bark at the Moon Animal Rescue is a volunteer-based, non-profit, animal welfare organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of stray, neglected, and abused animals. Bark at the Moon Animal Rescue is completely funded by the support of the community through fundraising efforts and public donations. All of our pets are cared for by foster homes and receive complete medical care, which includes worming, vaccinations, and spaying/neutering prior to their adoption.
