Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
This helps Bark at the Moon Animal Rescue with pet care costs.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ADOPT JAKE
M | 1Y | 23 KG | Mixed breed | Neutered | UTD on shots | Housebroken | Crate training - in progress | Good with dogs | Good with cats | Not kid tested | Playful | Curious | Happy guy | Fostered in Welland | Instagram: pupsiclesandpurringles
The name's Jake, nice to meet ya!
Before you say anything: Yes I know I'm cute. No, it didn't hurt when I fell from heaven. And I also have no idea how I'm still adoptable!
I'm a pretty fun guy. I like to play with ropes toys, balls, people, cats; really, I'll just about play with anyone and anything I can. Adventures are cool too, I still haven't seen much of the world so I wouldn't mind a hike or two - just make sure to let me stop and sniff the bushes!
Training is a passion of mine - I'll learn any commands for the right person (the one with treats). Crate training is a a bit of a different story though, some people might say I'm "clingy" or a little "nervous about being alone" or whatever - but I think they just can't handle how much love I have to give.
Anyway, I'm looking for a family who will show me around this crazy world and maybe teach me some new commands (keep the treats coming). Oh, and maybe introduce me to even more people to love me, feed me, scratch me... did I say feed me?
I wouldn't mind being an only child, but I love to play with other dogs, and my foster siblings (they're cats!) and I get along great. I haven't met any people kids yet but I bet they're great too! As long as there are boundaries and we're properly introduced, I think I'd get along with any type of sibling!
If we sound like a good match, swipe right!
Oops... I mean fill out an application and my people will call your people!

We do a very thorough screening interview, where we go through all of our policies, regulations and asking very detailed questions.
We perform a home and reference check.
Reference checks are your vet and two personal,
once all of those are completed,
we approve you.
you will out a liability waiver, and then set up a meet and greet
if the dog is the right fit, you sign the adoption agreement, pay the fee and on you go home with your new fido friend!
