Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lady Bug is beautiful 1 year old pup who's wild and really sweet! She likes to go outside and run, go on long walks, and play with her stuffies! She enjoys turkey and mind puzzles to keep her busy! She likes to lay on your lap and have her daily snuggles! We are learning how to walk on a leash and improving everyday! Come out to see Lady Bug!

The adoption fee is $350 + tax and covers age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter.

Applications are typically worked in time stamp order based on date/time of submission. If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee. It may save you a trip to bring them with you when you visit, if you are certain you want to adopt a new family member.

Someone from the rescue will contact you and/or your family and determine, on a broad level, whether you might be a fit for the animal. If so, they will provide instructions for completing the application. Your application will be reviewed, and you will be contacted to set up a time to meet at the shelter or the foster home. The introduction between you and the pet will be supervised by one of the dog counselors or the foster. If all goes well, you can adopt during the same visit.

More about this rescue

We are a no kill shelter operating in Sarpy County, Nebraska, a suburb of Omaha. We re-home dogs, cats and small critters. We work with dogs that are typically on "death row" and take in dogs from kill shelters in KS, TX, MO and elsewhere, as needed. Our cats usually come from kill shelters with an occasional owner surrender under special circumstances. Critters are found a variety of ways.

We also provide boarding and grooming services at very reasonable rates.
