This helps Town and Country Animal Rescue with pet care costs.
Prymrose is a 3 1/2 yo medium size mixed breed pup with the cutest wiggle butt, a huge smile and an abundance of love to share. Her foster mom describes her as "an absolute sweetheart" who adores everyone she meets. She is terrific with men, women and children. Her love language is definitely personal touch as she will velco herself to any and all humans. She does not believe in the concept of personal space so be prepared for a full body greeting when you meet her. She plays well with other dogs and is graciously sharing her toys with her foster fur siblings. Prymrose's leash skills are outstanding and she enjoys outdoor play. The transition from shelter to home life can be challenging when it comes to potty training so we're grateful to her foster family for focusing on this skill with her. They discovered that she needs to go several times before coming inside and they are diligently using the crate as a valuable training tool. She is not having any accidents in the crate and sleeps in it without whining. She has let them know that she would prefer to stay glued to their side but thanks to their compassionate consistency, she is crating without a fuss. Prymrose is a terrific pup using her time in foster to become the family pet you've been looking for.
The adoption fee is 350 + tax and covers age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter.
Applications are typically worked in time stamp order based on date/time of submission. If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee. It may save you a trip to bring them with you when you visit, if you are certain you want to adopt a new family member.
***** If you are interested in any of our animals, please fill out an application on our website www.townandcountryanimalrescue.org
Your application will be reviewed, and you will be contacted to set up a time to meet at the shelter or the foster home. The introduction between you and the pet will be supervised by one of the dog counselors or the foster. If all goes well, you can adopt during the same visit.
