Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Beanie is a lovely 4-1/2 year old female Shepherd mix who was found at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Marietta Ohio on November 28, 2024 by a Good Samaritan who brought her to the safety of our shelter later that afternoon. Beanie was not wearing a collar, and she was not microchipped.
Beanie has a brown/black brindle coat with a large patch of white on her chest, light brown/brindle shading on her long legs, a long tail, and a beautiful Shepherd face with dark brown eyes, a long slender muzzle, and large erect ears.
These photos of Beanie were taken late in the afternoon of December 4, 2024 when HSOV Volunteer Emma Dahlgren spent time with Beanie for outdoor glamour pictures. This little sweetheart has a friendly, outgoing personality and loved attention from Emma. She appeared to be housebroken since she quickly 'took care of business' (and kicked up her heels afterwards in the leaf-covered photo area) (smile). Beanie was intrigued with one of our small outdoor mascot kitties while the paparazzi captured her curious facial expressions.
Beanie weighs 47.5 lbs and walked fairly well on a leash for Emma.
In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Beanie will be held for three days so that her family will have an opportunity to reclaim her with proof of ownership. We hope that someone will recognize her and help us reunite her with her loved ones~
