Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Odie is a 10-year-old Chihuahua who needs a loving new home following the passing of her elderly owner. He is accustomed to living on a property with 11 other and a variety of other animals. Odie is very sweet and warms up quickly. He loves to be petted and to hang out with his people.
Odie has several medical considerations (see list below), but please don't let that deter you from giving this love bug the fresh start he needs and deserves!
You can apply for Frosted Funding at https://frostedfacesfoundation.org/frostedfunding to assist with veterinary expenses.
* Odie needs to have a dental.
* His long back seems to painful at times. It is likely an anti-inflammatory or pain medication would help him be much more comfortable.
* If frightened, he submissively pees. As he feels comfortable in his new home, this should subside; having him wear a belly band is an easy-peasy solution in the meantime.
Odie would do best in a home with only adults or with families that have mature children. He would thrive in a house where he can sleep in bed with his person and cuddle up on the couch. Odie would love to be best friends with someone who works from home or is retired!
Odie gets along well with cats, dogs, and other animals. He will need some help learning how to walk on a leash. He is trained to use potty pads when he needs to go but doesn't have access to outside.
You are welcome to drop by between 10 AM and 3 PM any day of the week to meet Odie and our other on-site Frosted Faces. We hope to see you soon!
