Meet McCallister!

McCallister came to us from Chula Vista Shelter on December 23rd. He is 12 years old and weighs 14 lbs. McCallister is very sweet and enjoys being petted.

McCallister is currently on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we can learn more about him in a home environment.

His Fling Mom reports:

"McCallister is the sweetest dog I’ve met in a long long time. He’s a complete snuggle bug and very respectful of our dogs. He does not resource guard food, toys, areas, or us. We usually have newly introduced dogs “earn” their privileges (such as sleeping on our bed). However, McCallister is such a sweet and mellow guy that he earned them all in the first day!

McCallister definitely knows “sit” and takes treats like a gentleman. He doesn’t beg for food and waited for an invitation to jump up on the couch. He’s just really easy to have in the house.

McCallister is great in the car, walks nicely on leash, eats well, sleeps through the night, and is house-trained.

McCallister is a great little dog, and we’re happy to keep him safe and warm while we wait for his furever family."

Choose a Program: Review the chart below and determine the time commitment that works best for you.

Express Interest: Fill out the Placement Questionnaire as completely and thoughtfully as possible so we can understand your expectations.

Invitation: Within 24 hours a Placement Coordinator will email follow up responses and schedule an appointment for you to visit Frosted Faces Foundation!

a. You will be invited to bring your family and pets to introduce to the Frosted Faces to ensure compatibility. We can show you how a dog interacts with cats on loose leash while you are here!

b. If the match is not successful, the Frosted Face is always welcome to come back to FFF and you will be invited to meet others!
