My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Petunia: The Sweetest Frenchie You’ll Ever Meet!
Looking for the perfect Frenchie? Look no further—Petunia is a 10/10 in every way! She is 2 yrs old and a small tiny little mush face you just want to kiss and carry all day! This loving, nurturing, and docile girl is the epitome of the dream French bulldog that so many people are searching for.

Why Petunia Is So Special:
• Gentle & Calm: She’s incredibly sweet, listens when she can hear, and has a peaceful demeanor.
• Loves Play & Relaxation: While she enjoys playing with her fur friends, Petunia also loves to sit back and take it easy.
• Snuggle Bug: She adores being close to her humans, giving kisses, and receiving scratches during movie time.
• Quirky Sleeper: Petunia starts in bed with her foster mom but usually ends up on the floor in a cozy clothing basket or even the toy bin.

Petunia’s Journey:
We rescued Petunia from the Arizona Humane Society after she was found with severe ear masses. Her TECA surgery was one of the most challenging our specialist has ever performed due to the calcification and complexity of her condition. Despite it all, and wo surgeries in both ears later, Petunia has recovered beautifully and is ready for a loving home. Her hearing is pretty much gone, she feels vibrations so clapping and being extra loud really helps her understand the dos and don’ts in foster mom’s house. She gets along with all dogs and loves being with her friends whether it’s curled up in a bed with them or cuddling with her foster mom and her fur friends. Do not expect to have much personal space with this girl.

Health & Care Needs:
• TECA Surgery Recovery: Petunia now relies on movement, gestures, and loud sounds to guide her due to hearing difficulties.
• Skin & Ears: She has yeasty skin and needs:
• Weekly medicated baths.
• Ears cleaned 2–3 times a week.
• A skin probiotic to manage paw licking and irritation.
• Potty Training: Almost there, but she may have occasional pee accidents, especially on rugs or carpets. She’s learning to use the doggy door but isn’t a fan just yet.
Petunia’s Personality:
• Loves Meal Time: She’s food-motivated and enjoys both her meals and sneaking treats during yours!
• Gets Along with Everyone: Petunia is non-aggressive and only gets overwhelmed if playtime gets too rowdy.
• Adorably Easy to Love: Her foster mom says it best—“Petunia is so easy to love, letting her go will be the hardest part.”

Ideal Home for Petunia:
Petunia needs a family that can provide her with the care she deserves, including her weekly baths and ear cleanings. A patient home with lots of love and maybe some carpet-free spaces would be ideal for this sweet girl as she continues learning.
If you’re ready to welcome the sweetest, most loving Frenchie into your life, Petunia is waiting for you. Apply today and give this perfect pup the forever home she deserves! Petunia is vaccinated, spay and microchipped. Her adoption donation fee is $1000.00.
