Meet Polly!
Polly is a 3.5-year-old French Bulldog weighing 18 lbs. with a heartwarming rescue story and a personality as big as her adorable little ears. She came to us from a Southern California shelter, initially battling health issues like congestion and diarrhea. Soon after, we discovered she was pregnant, and she gave birth to four precious little “Polly Pockets.” After being an amazing mom, Polly has truly blossomed and is now ready for a fresh start in a forever home.
Polly’s Personality:
Polly is sweet, playful, and absolutely charming. Her journey from being a mom to becoming her own happy self has been transformative. She loves cuddling on the couch, playing with toys, and being the perfect Netflix companion for her foster mom. True to her Frenchie nature, she has a touch of stubbornness but is eager to please and thrives with positive guidance. She is Velcro and will be up in your face as much as she possibly can. The pictures and the profile do not do her personality justice.
Great with Dogs & Travel-Friendly:
Polly gets along beautifully with other dogs and is a social butterfly. She’s also an excellent travel buddy, ready to join her future family on adventures. She would be great as a single dog getting all the attention or run with a pack, but she will defend herself in need be. She is not an aggressor by any means. Polly is looking for a home where she’ll be cherished, not used for breeding. She has a new lease on life and is ready to share it with a family who will adore her.
Health Updates:
Polly has made great progress health-wise! With her foster family’s patience and care, her digestive issues are under control, and she’s feeling fantastic. Her ears show some signs of past hematomas, but they only add to her unique and lovable charm. She has had hematomas in her ears and will require constant cleaning and the adopter should always have a steroid cream for ears in stock to help with inflammation, if needed.
