A Little Bit About Me

Meet Wagman--a friendly, social, and confident guy! Wagman enjoys petting and is incredibly handsome! He's loves hanging out with his people and is very personable, feisty, and playful. Give him plenty of activities to do indoors with wand toy play and kitty puzzles! Wagman needs to be an indoor-only cat due to his FIV positive status. He should be a solo kitty or may go to a home with other FIV positive cats. If you're a cat-experienced guardian looking for a companion who will bring some liveliness to your household, Wagman may be your guy!

More about this rescue

We are a group of people dedicated to rescuing dogs from crisis situations, some of which include euthanasia by animal shelters, neglect and other forms of abuse, or "free to a good home" ads, which result in dogs being bounced from one home to another, or being acquired by animal brokers ("bunchers") and sold to research laboratories where they are used for testing then discarded ("cruelty industries").

NBCR&P works primarily with 5 herding breeds, and herding breed mixes. On occasion, NBCR&P also rescues and places other breeds. We foster our dogs in a home environment, rather than a kennel, if at all possible. We take pride in our promise that at any time and for any reason in the dog's life, if the need arises, he or she has a safe place with us ("return to rescue" policy).
