Meet Honey!
Honey was surrendered to a shelter along with her sister and mother. To our knowledge they have always lived together but after spending time with all of them its clear they are not very bonded. Honey is approaching her senior years and has had a full work up done including imaging for a chronic limp she has. Honey is in good health but has some arthritic changes causing her to limp on one of her front limbs. This is managed by daily shirt walks, joint supplements and medication as needed. Honey is a sweet, gentle, sensitive girl who tends to be submissive when meeting other dogs. She is potty trained, crate trained, walks well on leash and has shown polite indoor manners. Honey can be uncomfortable with fast, loud, movements and would not be well suited for a home with young children. Honey has not been exposed to cats but based off her good nature we believe with proper introductions and boundaries she could live with them. Cat testing can be done for serious applicants. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled on Instagram (@nwdogproject) for updates! If you would like to be considered as Honey's forever home, be sure to submit an adoption application on our website!
Adoption fee includes - spay/neuter, microchip & chip registration, UTD vaccines, fecal testing, de-worming, flea treatment.
Honey would do great in a home with...
Cats :
Dogs : Yep!
Kiddos : 10+
