My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Daisy!

Daisy was surrendered to a shelter along with her sister and mother. When Daisy arrived we noticed a concerning mass on her abdomen and took her in to be evaluated by our veterinary team. After surgical removal and testing it came back as cancer, both squamous cell carcinoma and hemangiosarcoma. The recommendation from our vet is pallative care and we agree. Right now Daisy is not symptomatic and has no limitations. She is an active, loving, adventurous girl. The amout of time she has left is unknown and we are just taking things day to day. Daisy is very much a bird dog and loves to go for walks with her nose to the ground, taking in the world through smell. She has shown a prey drive so a home without cats and small animals is ideal. Daisy is the biggest love bug and craves human attention, so much so that she needs to be reminded of her manners from time to time. Daisy would do well with another dog her size (no small dogs) to share a home with, along with an owner who is dog savy and understands establishing proper boundaries. At this time we are seeking an adoptive home for Daisy as well as a foster/hopsice home. If you are interested in fostering all supplies, cost and support are provided. If you would like to be considered as Daisy's forever home or foster, be sure to submit an adoption application on our website!

Adoption fee includes - spay/neuter, microchip & chip registration, UTD vaccines, fecal testing, de-worming, flea treatment.

Daisy would do great in a home with...
Cats : nope
Dogs : Yep!
Kiddos : 10+
