Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Reba is a two year-old 46 pound mostly red with some white terrier pit that came to the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 12/17 as a stray. In her kennel she looks very dejected, but she was so happy to get out that her tail went around like a whirlybird. She’s recently had a litter. Her ribs are showing, and she could use some kibbles. She sits for treats and takes them gently. She wagged her tail meeting other dogs, but the hair did go up on her back. So if you have another dog, please ask the shelter for a dog test. She walks OK on a leash. She did her business in the yard. She stays close seeking affection. She’s very well behaved, sweet, loving, active and playful. The thing she likes best is to be loved on. She puts her head on your lap and then just looks up at you adoringly. She captured my heart and I know she will do the same with yours. She should do really well with children because she’s playful and yet gentle. She wants to be an inside dog almost entirely because she loves her people and she wants to be close to them. She would make a good cuddler.
