Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Looking for a hound-ish type dog but don't want all the noise they bring with them? Then Maya is your gal! This absolute sweetheart of a dog would make the perfect companion for many as she is playful but not overly energetic, she is social with everyone she meets, and she loves other dogs and gets alone well with the playful ones and the chill ones. She has been with us for over 300 days and is so deserving of a loving family. She would do best in a home with out cats but if you call that a flaw it might be her only one. Maya has had all her vetting done and even had surgery to fix the cherry eye she came into our care with. Maya has not received one single application and has been over looked repetitively but we believe there is someone out there that will realize what an amazing dog Maya is and give her a chance.

Once you meet an animal you want to adopt, you'll fill out an application. We'll read through and go over it with you. Once that's approved we'll set up a counseling session to go over all paperwork with you.
Dogs must go home in a collar and leash and cats must leave in a carrier. Both of which can be purchased at the shelter. .
