Ellie is an 8-month-old German Shepherd mix who’s the perfect mix of playful and chill. She loves other dogs, does great with kids, and enjoys both adventures and snuggles on the couch. Ellie knows the command “sit,” is learning her manners and house training, and adores stuffed toys for chewing and cuddling.

The process is quite simple! Please stop by and see for yourself. All animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to going home.

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit open intake shelter that serves all of East Baton Rouge parish. We strive to improve the lives of abandoned, unwanted and abused animals in our parish. We house approximately 400 animals at any given time. We take in 20-30 new animals a day. We are always in need of fosters both short and long term, donations, and volunteers.
