A24491 Bumblebee is a brown and tan colored, approximately 9-month-old, 59-pound, spayed female, Shar Pei mix.
She entered the shelter a stray on 12-22-2024 and was altered by our medical staff.
Bumblebee is a friendly, eager and excited girl here in the shelter. Our staff describes her as a super sweet girl who loves people and affection. She is excited to see people at her kennel door and is right at the front, ready for love and attention or to go for a walk. She is curious about other dogs and has a friendly tail wag as we pass by their kennels on her walk. But a meet and greet is recommended if you have another dog in the home. She was easy to leash, pulls a little, but pretty well behaved during our walks. She will need some training and doesn’t know any commands. She is friendly and excited to meet new people and will cuddle up with you if you sit on the ground with her. Bumblebee will be a fun-loving family member in her new forever home.

Meet and greets with your family dog and shelter dog is encouraged. Dog and cat meet and greets are not allowed.

$80 for all kitten/cat adoptions. $90 for all puppy/dog adoptions. $35 for all rabbit adoptions.

Additional adoption info

The shelter is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, with adoptions closing at 4:30pm. The shelter is closed on Sundays and all government observed holidays.

City of Henderson Animal Care and Control is the only open admission animal shelter in the City of Henderson. We service the City of Henderson and the residents and animals within city limits. Our goal is to find forever homes for all adoptable animals and reunite pets with their people. We work with multiple rescue groups and allow any good adoptee to adopt from our shelter.
