Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We are desperately seeking foster or forever homes for two sweet boys, Blue (black coat) and his brother Sunny, rescued from the Barstow shelter earlier this year. These boys were saved alongside their mom when they were just 3 weeks old, this is one of the saddest shelters we've seen. Their mom is a little shepherd mix, and we believe they may be part Great Pyrenees due to two of the puppies having six toes on their back feet!
Here’s their story:
Blue and Sunny were adopted by their foster mom after we struggled to find them homes, but tragedy struck when their foster mom recently passed away. A family member is currently holding onto them, but the situation is far from ideal—they’re confined to a very small space and need a better environment immediately.
💔 The Situation:
• Blue and Sunny will turn 1 year old on New Year’s Day.
• They’re potty trained with a dog door.
• They DO NOT need to be fostered or adopted together.
• Both boys are incredibly sweet, but their current living situation is heartbreaking and they need
placement right away!
Blue is active, smart and playful. He is a little more reserved and independent but he still craves attention and you can tell he longs for love. He does have some allergies, combined with stress he has lost some hair but it is growing back and we know that beautiful black coat is ready to shine with the real TLC he deserves.
These boys have endured so much already—they were rescued as tiny puppies from a shelter where they were crammed into a small space with their mom and several other dogs. They deserve a chance to thrive and find their forever homes.
