Hello! My name is Hela. I’m the cutest Australian Cattle Dog puppy with my black mask and stump tail! I was born 10/22/24 and although smaller in size I have all the characteristics of a cattle dog puppy. I am super smart, motivated, learned “sit”, fetch and a pretty good recall in a snap! My foster mom believes I would excel in any working dog discipline and would be a fun one to train! I seem to really like to use my “nose” so possibly a great scent or barn hunt dog! Or even a running/ hiking partner!
Foster mom says:
Hela is sleeping through the night in her crate and doing really well with house breaking and crate training. She has been to the office! She’s wonderful for car rides and picking up leash training rather fast.
She enjoys playing with the other household dogs but takes a little bit to warm up to strange dogs. Her play may be too much for small or older dogs. Oh and it’s sooo much fun to chase the cat! Has been exposed to horses with little interest as of yet.
Hela is active, strong willed and sassy! So an active home with breed or training experience and a fenced yard with room to run would be ideal!
Although Hela loves to stay near you always, she doesn’t like to be overly handled or restrained and needs work on not getting too excitable so no young children for this girl! Also no free ranged chickens/ducks.
Hela is up to date on current vaccinations and preventatives. And will be adopted out with a spay contract.
She is located in Monroeville, NJ. For more information you can email thepaintedponyfarm@gmail.com
And applications for Hela can be submitted at acdra.org
