Chewy is an owner surrender looking for a new home.

Hi! My name is Chewy! I am a handsome 3 year old fawn boy that is an owner surrender due to my current owners being unable to give me the time I deserve. I am described as friendly, active, smart, calm, protective, playful, affectionate, and obedient! It is said that I am dog friendly but I do have times where I get jealous. I am said to be kid friendly and currently live with an 8 year old. It is unsure if I am cat friendly, so a proper introduction would be needed. I am house trained, crate trained, know basic commands, and at night I sleep in my crate or anywhere in the home. When the humans must be away, I react great being left alone. When I am outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. I am fearful of random and unknown noises but love riding in the car, anything that squeaks or makes noises, playing, getting attention, belly rubs, and pretty much everything! If you think I would make a great addition to your family, contact the rescue today and give them my name because I am waiting to meet you!

1. Fill out an Online Adoption Application

2.Your application will be reviewed and sent to a volunteer in your area. The volunteer will contact you to schedule a home visit within one week. There is a $25.00 fee for a volunteer to come to your house for a home visit. This fee is non-refundable, but will be applied to the adoption fee when the adoption is finalized.

3. After your home visit is complete and you are approved you can begin meeting dogs. The person who met with you during your home visit will assist you in this process.
