My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Polar – The Sweetest, Goofiest Family Dog! Polar is a handsome and loving 59-pound pup with a heart as big as his smile! When Polar first came to the shelter, he was a bit shy and uncertain, but thanks to the love and care of staff and volunteers, he’s blossomed into an affectionate boy who now seeks out pets and attention.

Recently, Polar spent time in a foster home where his true personality shone:
* Car Rides – He rides like a champ!
* Walks – He loves long strolls and spending time outdoors.
* Homebody Vibes – Polar thrives in one-on-one interactions and enjoys bonding with his family in a cozy home.
* Playful and Puppyish – He’s discovering the joy of toys and has the cutest goofy mannerisms!
* Cuddle Bug – He adores snuggling up with his people and will happily sprawl across your lap on the sofa.

Polar gets along great with other dogs and enjoyed playing with the resident dog in his foster home. He`s done well in play groups at the shelter as well. He’s also crate trained and housebroken, making him ready to fit right into his new home! At 2-6 years old, Polar is neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested, and vaccinated. If you’re looking for a sweet, goofy companion to bring endless love into your life, Polar is your guy! Come meet Polar today at Citrus County Animal Services, 4030 S. Airport Rd., Inverness, FL. ID#57522003. Let’s find this special boy his forever home! AND....Polar has been gifted a 7-week training course gift certificate from Dog Training with Terah!
