This helps Malinois and Dutch Shepherd Rescue, Inc. with pet care costs.
Isla is a gorgeous young girl, who would love nothing more than to find a human to trust and learn from!
As all Mals, she will need mental and physical stimulation! Once she trusts, she will work for you and loves to cuddle, she will be your velcro dog forever! She’s food motivated, so we’re hoping we can find her a human who loves working on confidence and training! She loves chasing after the ball as well!
She’s developed a few bad habits that require an experienced patient handler. She has high heeding and prey drive! She has developed some fear responses that need attention!
She needs a place to reset as her current home cannot give her what she needs and actually perpetuates the situation! Help us help this precious girl!
She walks well on leash and knows basic commands. She knows lay down, come, go, and sit in Spanish, English, and sign language. She’s working on “para” which means stop. She seems to prefer Spanish and sign language.
She’s great with other dogs and would love some fur siblings!!
Isla is just past her first birthday and is looking for a new forever home because she’s not doing well in her current home that is hectic and loud. She hopes to move to a calmer, quiet, relaxed home, ideally without young kids (she is fine with kids but she gets overwhelmed when they scream, run around or make lots of noise).
She is the sweetest, cutest, most adorable little girl. All she wants is love and attention and to be a lap dog. She a Velcro dog and attached to her person quickly! Who’s got an open heart and empty spot on their lap for her??
Let’s help this girl get another chance at a beautiful life!

MAD is an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location. Our mailing address is in Michigan, however, our dogs are in private foster homes across the US, and the state each dog's is in is posted with the name of the pet or in the title description. If you are located within 4 hours of the pet, please be prepared to pick the pet up. MAD does offer transport assistance for up to 350 miles. The remainder of the distance is the responsibility of the adopter.
The basic information that we have available is in our posting, but sometimes fosters will post updates on the MAD Rescue Facebook page as well, https://www.facebook.com/groups/malinoisanddutchshepherdrescueinc.
If you would like to further inquire on this animal, please fill out this application. Applications that are completed in our process and being considered as a match will speak to the foster home to gain more information about our adoptable dog.
If you have questions about this pet please contact us at info@MADrescueinc.org.
You may also call our toll free number at 844-MAD-RESQ or 844-623-7377.
