Meet Alice!

She recently had hip surgery as her hip socket was popping out but we got that fixed and vet said it should be an easy and fast recovery!

**She is a young and medium energy level
**Loves people but does take a few days to warm up before she is coming up for pets and cuddles
**Her puppies have all moved on and she is learning to have her independence and being an empty nester now haha
**Loves to play fetch and play with other dogs
**Kids would have to be older as she is still skittish and fearful so kids that can respect her space will be needed
**Hasnt been cat tested but shes a sweet girl that would learn from one swat to leave the cat alone
**She likes to chew on bones and hang out in the home. Shes got a great energy and sweetness to her

**We are still working through leash training and confidence and good for her she is off to a dog trainer foster home

All POSO dogs come with 2 free dog training sessions and fully vetted

“A Dog Rescue Doing More than Dog Rescue”
We are a young rescue (3rd year anniversary in Jan 2023), but we are here to lead the way of what rescue actually means and set the standard so others can follow.

We are doing more than just rescuing the dog.
We hold monthly group training classes for the community (yes, even those without rescue dogs).

We provide free training for our foster families.
We provide free training for our adoptive families.
We are doing more than just rescuing the dog, we are changing the pattern of surrendering by providing knowledge and education through our community.
It seems like a simple thought of course, but one that many rescue groups do not follow.
