What can we say about Rooney (born 09/24)? Rooney was found in some bushes when he was about 4 weeks old. Not sure what happed to the rest of his family, but Rooney is a social butterfly. Rooney is a confident kitty and took no time to adjust to his foster home. He has fuzzy orange fur and is so handsome.
At his foster home he met Vick (born 10/24) and the party started. Rooney and Vick are playful, loveable, sweet and once they are adjusted will be your buddies. Vick is a gray and white tuxedo.

Adoption fee $100 for adult (over 12 months old) and $125 for kitten (under 12 months old). All cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), tested for FIV/FELV, microchipped, have received age-appropriate vaccines, treated for fleas and worms. We are not first come, first serve. We try to match our kitties with the purrfect home.
Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are an all-volunteer organization. All our kitties are in foster care. We ask that you be patient with us as we connect you to the foster to set up a meet and greet.
Most of our kittens are placed in bonded pairs. One of the most important ways we can support the behavioral and emotional development of a kitten is to make sure they’ve got a friend. Despite the common belief that cats are solitary animals, they’re actually incredibly social beings who thrive when they have feline friends from an early age. That’s why the cat experts always recommend adopting two kittens, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat in the home for the kitten to befriend. It may come as a surprise to hear this, but two kittens are actually half the work of one! Giving your kitten a buddy will improve the lives of the cats while also making your life easier.
