Hey Y’all! My name is Bubble Yum! What a great name!! I was one lucky little gal! I was found running around the Alabama Shakespeare Park! I guess I was hoping for a part in one of their wonderful productions! As it turned out, I didn’t get the “part!” One of the nice Humane Deputies rode me to the shelter! I waited at the shelter for my owners, but was never claimed. I am now ready for adoption. I have all of my vaccinations for my age, I have a microchip, and I have been spayed. I am what they call a “teenage” puppy! I am still young, but I am ready to start learning good doggie manners and go out for long walks and fun short runs!

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.

The Montgomery Humane Society prevents cruelty to animals by operating an animal shelter for homeless, abandoned, and unwanted animals; by operating an adoption center for healthy animals; by investigating cruelty and abuse cases; and by educating the public in animal owner responsibility.
