My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🖤 Meet Oreo: A Shy Gentleman in Tuxedo 🖤

Introducing Oreo, a shy but incredibly charming black and white tuxedo cat. Oreo may take a little while to warm up to new friends, but once he does, he shows his affectionate and gentle nature. He's looking for a quiet home where he can feel safe and loved at his own pace. If you have a soft spot for the quiet ones who bloom with patience, Oreo could be your perfect match.

More about this shelter

A not-for-profit organization, Monroe County Friends of Animals help the County by raising funds to build a new facility for our animals. It is called the Eastbourne Animal Center and has now replaced the old Monroe County Animal Shelter. They provide volunteers, fundraising events, grant writing and more. There is always a need for more volunteers. With a small budget, donations are a welcome necessity. We have developed educational programs to promote spay/neuter and humane care of all animals.
