Meet Blitz, a puppy who is as sweet as they come. This friendly little guy has a heart full of love to give. Despite his fear of walking on a leash, he`s eager to learn and grow. With patience and gentle encouragement, he can overcome his fears. Blitz is a ball of energy, always ready to play and explore. He is also a quick learner, eager to please, and is sure to be a loyal companion. He may need a little time to adjust, but once he does, he will reward you with unconditional love. Adopt Blitz and bring home a friend who will make every day brighter.
Blitz will need an indoor home and a secure containment area to stay safe from wandering and escaping. Positive reinforcement, fear-free training will be needed. Daily exercise and mental enrichment will be very important. If you have other dogs in your home, we would be happy to arrange a meet and greet with your dog(s) to make sure everyone gets along. We don’t know how he will do with cats.

West Valley Humane Society is an open-admission animal shelter in Southern Idaho. Serving all of Canyon County, and surrounding areas. We take in the stray, surrendered, abandoned, neglected animals in our community. In 2017, we took in 7,778 animals. We believe that every animal deserves a second chance.
We contract with the cities of Nampa, Caldwell and Canyon County to house stray and owner surrender animals that their ACO's, or the general public, bring to us.
