My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello world! It's me Hope and I am a 12 year young 15 lb schnauzer girl looking for my forever home. My human passed away and his son could not take care of me due to personal issues so he reached out to the girls at FCCR for help...and you know the rest!. Needless to say I am soooo very happy he did that..it was the responsible thing to do. Now I am with my wonderful foster mommy who says I am the easiest pup to care for---- I have EXCELLENT house manners, super smart, loving and I can talk! Yup- you heard that right- I can talk! But it's not your regular schnauzer barking fest- foster mommy says I am a quiet girl but at night I make the cutest sounds as if to tell her "foster mommy it's bedtime...let's go!" and then I will head on to the bedroom to lay on my comfy bed and wait for her and the lights to be turned off. So if you are looking for a sweet, loving, and smart friend and companion then ask for me by submitting your application to www.floridacockerrescue.org ADOPTION FEE: $295.00

More about this rescue

Florida Coastal Cocker Rescue (FCCR) is a non-profit organization located in SW Florida. We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing Cocker Spaniels throughout the state of Florida and neighboring states. We rely 100% on donations and volunteers to help us take care of our dogs. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines and rabies, heartworm tested, flea and heartworm treatment, and microchip.

FCCR carefully screens all of our potential furever and foster homes to ensure that our pups will have safe and loving homes. Some of our dogs come from shelters and abusive situations and we want to make sure that they will only see love the rest of their lives.
