Thor is a 6-month-old Shepherd-Husky mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for life. This playful pup is a bundle of energy at the dog park, where he runs hard, makes fast friends, and shows off his fun-loving spirit. At home, he’s a dream—quiet and calm, he sleeps through the night without a peep and has already mastered holding his potty until it’s time for his walks.

Thor is a creature of habit and loves routine, faithfully visiting his favorite pee spot three times a day and saving his big business for his first trip to the dog park. He’s a little sensitive and gets attached quickly, so he might cry when you leave the house, but that’s just his way of showing how much he loves you. While Thor doesn’t bark at home, he sometimes lets out a few woofs at the park, just to let everyone know he’s there.

We bring animals that are awaiting euthanasia or struggling to find homes in shelters locally in Colorado as well as shelters out of state in New Mexico, Texas, and Kansas into our foster’s loving homes. All animals receive any necessary medical care, as well as a microchip before they find their fur-ever family!
